OUTREACH
Outreach serves as the crucial entry point to Covenant House California's comprehensive system of care. CHC Van Outreach staff builds trusting
relationships with youth by addressing their immediate needs such as food, shelter, referrals, and assisting them in taking the steps necessary
to resolve their crisis situations. The Outreach staff also responds to CHC's 24-hour crisis hotline, known as the "Nineline" (1-800-999-9999) and
outside referrals. Outreach staff offer crisis intervention, runaway and delinquency prevention programs on the street, at schools and in the community.
