Covenant House California (CHC) addresses the needs of homeless and at-risk youth by providing outreach, a safe environment, and comprehensive
services to at-risk youth, through the operation of its Oakland Outreach and Community Service Center programs. Established in1998, CHC-Oakland
follows the outreach, case management and prevention model that has been successfully developed by other Covenant House sites. Emphasis is on
services that advance the educational, vocational, and social achievement of at-risk youth between the ages of 13-22. Covenant House California
is in the process of developing its own Crisis Shelter and Transitional Living programs in the East Bay area.
