LIFEWORKS PROJECT: HIV/AIDS SERVICES
The Lifeworks Project helps youth living with HIV/AIDS develop the skills they need for optimum healthy living. Program participants work with a
case manager to develop a service plan based on their unique needs and goals. An emphasis is placed on developing skills, interests and emotional
stability for coping with the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS while learning how to be self-sufficient. Additionally, youth are provided with
counseling, HIV/AIDS support groups, specialized referrals, and HIV/AIDS continuing education. Youth also receive regular testing and follow-up
through Covenant House California's health clinic and health care provider network.
