DAY OUTREACH
Youth encountered on the streets by the Street Outreach Program are often hesitant to enter a shelter program. These young people are referred to
the Covenant House California 
Day Outreach Program where trained case managers are available to discuss the program with the youth, to provide
crisis intervention, referrals, and intake assistance. Non-residential youth receive referrals to a network of service agencies that provide food,
bus tokens, laundry, identification, and other services.
