STREET OUTREACH
Outreach serves as the crucial entry point to Covenant House California's comprehensive system of care.
The outreach van and staff have been a
regular presence on the streets of Los Angeles for over a dozen years. Outreach staff build trusting relationships with children and youth,
addressing their immediate needs such as food, shelter, and referrals, and assisting them in taking the steps necessary to resolve their crisis
situations. The Outreach staff also responds to CHC's 24-hour crisis hotline, known as the "Nineline" (1-800-999-9999), and outside referrals.
